Caster, CPA CFF CFE MSA RIA            Mrs. Caster graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and with a Master of Science in Accounting. Margaret is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner. Margaret manages the firms Taxation Department as well as the Quality Review Program, which is the system of quality control for the auditing and accounting practice of the firm. She reviews and provides guidance for the firms audited, reviewed and compiled financial statements including opinions, reports and disclosures in accordance with technical standards as required by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).          Margaret has a wide-range of taxation, auditing and accounting experience. She is knowledgeable in accounting and taxation for entities of varying sizes and complexity, including taxation of corporations, partnerships, individuals, estates and trusts. She is also experienced in accounting and reporting for nonprofit entities.          Margaret is a Certified Fraud Examiner. She is a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Rhode Island Chapter of Certified Fraud Examiners .  She is also achieved the AICPA designation as Certified in Financial Forensics.          Formerly with a big four accounting firm, Margaret is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the Rhode Island Chapter of Fraud Examiners. She is a former instructor of accounting at the University of Rhode Island.             Margaret is a member of Advanced Referral Connections Company, Inc. a networking organization dedicated enhancing business relationships among professionals.  As well, she is a member of the Central Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce.            Recently, Margaret successfully passed the Series 65 Exam, the Uniform Investment Advisors Law Exam and is enrolled with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).          Margaret’s extensive taxation and audit background compliments the quality of service you will receive at Caster CPAs Inc.    Michael R. Caster Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor   Mr. Caster is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island with an Bachelor in Science in Business Administration, majoring in Management.                                                                                                                                     Mike is a Certified "QuickBooks" Pro Advisor and has an extensive background in bookkeeping and payroll services. In his previous endeavors he managed bookkeeping and payroll in the food service industry. Caster, EA Nationally Certified Food Safety Instructor            Richard Caster moved into restaurant consulting after working in the food service industry for more than 35 years.  Richard is a Certified Food Safety Manager - Instructor.                                                                                                       Richard is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with a General Studies concentration. His experience in the industry includes managing restaurants for two prestigious national chains, both of which have garnered awards and recognition from JD Power & Associates and Restaurants and Institutions, among others. This background has given Richard a thorough understanding of food presentation and cost controls.                                                                                                                    In addition to his tenures at major corporations, he has also worked in small catering situations and in the fast food environment. His broad range of experience has given him a deep appreciation of good food and left him versed in fine dining and liquor licensing concerns as well. Richard recently passed the Enrolled Agents examination. As an Enrolled Agent, Richard is a federally authorized tax practitioner who has specialized knowledge of taxation for individuals, businesses, estates and trusts.
